The game was available as an early release on 8 March 2022 on Steam. Later, on 27 August 2024, Core Keeper was fully released for Linux, PS 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. On 27 Sept 2024, a version of Switch was also released.

Is Core Keeper Crossplay?

Unfortunately, Core Keeper doesn’t support full crossplay. However according to the developers, “Core Keeper supports cross-play between PC platforms via the networking solution PlayFab”.

Moreover, Core Keeper supports cross-generational play, which means PS 5 players can play with PS 4 and vice versa, and the same goes for Xbox players.

Is Core Keeper Cross-progression?

Unfortunately, Core Keeper doesn’t support cross-progression or cross-save. This means you cannot transfer Core Keeper from one device to another.

If you ever change your primary platform all your progress will be lost and you have to play Core Keeper from starting.
