Jammu, Sept 11:-  All India Youth Congress President B V Srinivvas today asked the cadres of jk youth congress to  launch “Youth Jodo, booth Jodo ” Abhiyan to strengthen congress party in Jammu and Kashmir. 

Addressing youth cadres of the party at party hq here today, after giving oath of office to newly elected president of PYC Akash Bharat, Srinivas said that the task of youth congress is to carry to the masses  the message and policies of leadership and congress party. It is their duty to reach out to each booth and strengthen our units there. 

He also stressed upon the need to effectively counter fake propaganda of BJP on the what’s university by strengthening our social media in order to bring truth and true history before people. 

IYC Chief said that BJP tries to divert attention of people on non issues as all surveys and figures reflect BJP’s defeat in 2024. Indiia & Bharat both belong to us , as it was incorporated in the Constitution when framed and our yatra last year too was Bharat jodo Yatra  to counter the atmosphere of hatred & division created in the country by the BJP’s vote bank politics. 

He said that Modi led BJP govt failed on multiple fronts especially in fulfilling the fake promise of two cr jobs annually and creating joblessness, so youth will pupl them down, he added. He lauded the PCC Chief, who is a former IYC General secretary Shri vikar Rasool wani for his tireless efforts ti strengthen congress. 

JKPCC Chief vikar Rasool wani lashed out BJP for its anti youth and anti poor policies and said that BJP is on its last leg, as people have made mind to throw it out of power in Jammu and Kashmir and elsewhere in the country. 

He lambasted BJP for the highly objectionable and teasing remarks against the yuva rajput sabha, who were arrested  a week for raisin the common voice of Jammu Kashmir. Entire Jammu observed bandh for removing toll plaza but the government is unmoved while BJP which was given mandate by Jammu people is teasing those who struggle for Jammu. 

Vikar said that BJP betrayed youth and pushed them to large scale unemployment and unprecedented price rise due to huge taxations of all sorts. The people will teach them a lesson in the election as every section is annoyed & fed up with BJP. 

He assured the new team of youth congress of all help and support and asked them to work hard at grass root level. 

Working President Raman Bhalla also congratulated the new team and asked them to go to the masses to carry the message of congress party and leadership and counter false publicity of BJP. 

Pyc Chief Akash Bharat expreessed gratitude to the leadership and the youth for reposing faith in him and assured to come upto their expectations.

Several Senior Congress leaders also graced the occassion while IYC office General Secretaried I/C JK Jagdev Gaga & Amit Pathania, ,Ex- PYC Chief Pranab Shagotra, outgoing president Udey Bhanu Chib,IYC secy Ch Aiyaz, Sdr Manni, newly elected PYC office bearers, DYC and Assembly presidents attended the function. 

Earlier the Youth congress workers accorded rousing reception to the IYC Chief from airport to Shaheedi chowk, where he hoisted the national flag in front of party hq, in  the presence of JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani and other senior leaders of Congress, IYC and PYC , which was organised by cong seva dal led by Vijay Sharma & seva dal team.
