Jammu administration refutes news report regarding VBSY
JAMMU, December 3: The district administration Jammu has refuted a news claiming absence of Govt functionaries in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Baspur and Chandu Chak panchayats in block RS Pura as reported in a section of press.
The news was found as baseless as panchayat and block level officers and officials of Revenue, Agriculture, Rural Development, Social Welfare, Public Works, Health and Education departments were present on the spot and participated in the outreach programme.
District Development Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, has also reaffirmed the stance of district administration of providing doorstep and quality delivery of government services to the masses. He also assured that wherever required concerned senior officers will always be deputed for duty.
The DDC further assured that all revenue related grievances would be addressed on priority.
The district administration is successfully organising Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in different panchayats and recently Municipalities are also being reached through the ambitious outreach programme of the Government.
The aim of the programme is to disseminate information about the welfare schemes and initiatives of the Government. The programme also provides an opportunity to the public to interact with the officers and raise their issues and demands. The district administration has appealed to the public to participate in the programme and avail the benefits of the Government schemes.
