Jammu administration reviews preparedness for NEET conduct
JAMMU, APRIL 28: In view of the forthcoming NEET Examination scheduled on May 4, 2025, a series of meetings were convened today to review and finalise arrangements for the smooth and fair conduct of the examination across the district.

The first meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Jammu, Sachin Kumar Vaishya and attended by Senior Superintendent of Police, Joginder Singh, Additional District Magistrate, Ansuya Jamwal, Centre Coordinators and other stakeholders. It was informed that a total of 33 examination centres will be established across Jammu district for the NEET 2025.
During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held regarding logistics, safety and security measures, and the provision of essential facilities at all centres. The District Magistrate issued specific instructions to concerned departments to ensure uninterrupted power supply, robust traffic management and comprehensive security arrangements on the day of examination. He emphasised the need for close coordination among all departments to facilitate a hassle-free experience for candidates and staff.
Later in the day, an orientation session was chaired by Additional District Magistrate, Ansuya Jamwal, which witnessed the participation of Tehsildars, Centre Supervisors and other officials associated with the conduct of NEET 2025. The ADM briefed the participants about their respective roles and responsibilities, underscoring the importance of strict adherence to prescribed protocols. She highlighted the critical role of Magistrates and Centre Supervisors in maintaining order and ensuring the sanctity of the examination process.
Both the District Magistrate and Additional District Magistrate called upon all stakeholders to work in synergy and extend full cooperation to ensure the successful and transparent conduct of the NEET 2025 examination in Jammu district.
