Brig. Langeh anticipates warm ties between market associations & Dharmarth Trust

JAMMU: Jammu Civil Society today felicitated Brig. R.S Langeh (Retd), President of J&K Dharmarth Trust and Ashok Kumar Sharma (SSP retd), Secretary of the Trust and hoped warm ties between the two entities will continue for ensuring goodwill and welfare of people of Jammu region.

In this regard, a programme was organized by the traders of Raghunath Bazaar, Gummat Bazaar, Lower Gummat, Karan Market, Hari Market, Lower Hari Market , New Hari Market, Lower Karan Market, Shalamar Traders Association,   Lower Raghunath Bazaar, Gurudwara Sunder Singh Road , Traders Association, Veer Marg and Ranbir Market under the banner of Jammu Civil Society here at Shri Raghunathji Temple.

Baldev Khullar, President Jammu Civil Society and  Ex. President Raghunath Bazar Businessman Association led the ceremony and conducted the proceedings in a smooth and cordial manner. He also gave a PowerPoint Presentation on the history of Raghunathji Temple along with various suggestions on creation of additional facilities for the comfort and convenience of devotees visiting one of the most popular temples of Jammu and Kashmir.
After going through the suggestions and demands of the traders, Brig. Langeh gave nod to most of the issues which come up for discussion and assured that these will be taken up soon for implementation in letter and spirit. He also mentioned about the everlasting cooperation between the temple and the stakeholders of the surrounding markets and requested traders for playing their significant role in further glorifying the rich heritage and religious importance of this age old religious shrine, which is a must visit destination for every devotee and tourist visiting the City of Temples.

Brig. Langeh and Ashok Kumar expressed gratitude to the traders’ fraternity for honouring him in such a big way. They assured that Dharmarth Trust will stand shoulder to shoulder with traders in making the vicinity more elegant and traveler friendly, because it is important for wooing the visitors to the Bazaar and also temple premises to pay obeisance at this world famous historical temple.
