Jammu Police nabs inter-state drug smuggler with Ganja

JAMMU, 21 March 2024: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse under Operation Sanjeevani Jammu Police arrested a Chattisgarh-based narcotics smuggler in Domana area of Jammu district today on 21.03.2024 and seized 1 kg Ganja from his possession.

A police team of Police Station Domana led by SHO PS Domana Inspector Arun Sharma assisted by ASI Raj Singh while on patrolling duty at Machine Domana area rounded up one suspect later identified as Sundar Lal Chandra S/o Kumar Singh Chandra R/o Bhatmahul, Janjgir Champa Chhattisgarh. On his search, 1 Ganja was recovered from his possesion.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 65/2024 under relevant sections got registered in Police Station Domana and accused was arrested.Further investigation of the case is going on.
