Jammu police seize 2 vehicles in crackdown on illegal mining operations
Jammu Police conducted a raid on illegal mining activities in the district’s rural zone, resulting in the seizure of two vehicles.
The operation targeted separate locations, with Nagrota Police apprehending a dumper truck bearing registration number JK02DC-1926. The vehicle was found to be loaded with Nallah Mud, a clear sign of illegal mining activity.

Simultaneously, Pounichak Police detained a tractor-trolley carrying a load of boulders.
In both instances, the vehicles were seized, and the District Mining Officer (DMO) was promptly informed to initiate the necessary legal proceedings.
