Jammu police seize 6 vehicles in crackdown on illegal mining

Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) have intensified their efforts to curb illegal mining activities in the rural areas of Jammu district. In an operation conducted across various locations, the police seized six vehicles allegedly involved in illegal mining.

The seized vehicles were found to be carrying sand, nullah muck, and bajri, all without the necessary permits or violating regulations. The District Mining Officer (DMO) was informed to initiate legal proceedings against the owners of the detained vehicles.

The Jammu Police have assured the public of their continued vigilance in tackling illegal mining activities in the district.
