Jammu police’s cyber cell solves two online financial fraud cases; recovers over ₹1 lakh

In a significant breakthrough, the Cyber Cell of Jammu & Kashmir Police in Jammu District has successfully resolved two online financial fraud cases, recovering ₹1,01,272 out of the ₹1,10,272 lost by victims in two separate scams. The swift action by the police has provided major relief to the victims, with further investigations still ongoing.

District Police Jammu highlighted the efficiency and prompt response of the Cyber Cell team. The cases involved intricate online scams, reflecting the growing sophistication of cybercrime.

In both cases, the dedicated Cyber Cell team acted promptly and efficiently and managed to trace and recover a substantial portion of the defrauded amount. Efforts to investigate and prevent such crimes are ongoing. Police urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious online activities immediately.
