Jammu-Srinagar highway blocked due to urgent repairs at Dalwas, Ramban

Commuters travelling on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) are advised to plan their journeys accordingly as traffic on both sides has been halted due to urgent repair work being carried out at Dalwas, Ramban.

Repair work is currently in progress at Dalwas on NH-44, further highlighting the significance of the repairs and the critical need for commuters’ cooperation.

The traffic stoppage was causing inconvenience to motorists travelling between Jammu and Srinagar. Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police officials informed that the repairs are essential and urged commuters to cooperate with them during this time.

Authorities have advised travellers to be patient and wait for further updates. Traffic will only resume after the road is cleared and deemed safe for travel.
