Authorities have warned of a potential risk of landslides and shooting stones due to the ongoing rain.
The advisory issued by the Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police also highlights that other routes in the region, including the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) road, Mughal Road, and Bhaderwah-Chamba road, remain open for travel as of now.
Commuters traveling on the Jammu-Srinagar highway are urged to exercise caution and follow traffic advisories. They should also be prepared for delays due to slow-moving traffic.
