This comes after a previous closure on the highway earlier for similar reasons. The road surface at Dalwas is currently deemed unfit for traffic, prompting authorities to take action.
J&K Traffic Police officials have advised commuters to avoid undertaking any journeys on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW until the road improvements are complete.
Authorities have requested the public’s cooperation with the Traffic Police during this time. For the latest updates on road conditions, commuters can contact the Traffic Control Unit (TCU) Ramban at 9419993745 or the national helpline number 1800-180-7043.
