Jammu University Fencing (M&W) Team left for Khelo India University Games-2023

Jammu, May 26- The University of Jammu Fencing (M&W) Team today leaves for participation in the Khelo India University Games 2022, to be held at Lucknow (U.P) w.e.f 31^st May, to 3^rd June 2023.

The Men team comprises of Prashant Chib, Praney Singh, Gourav Thakur, Arun Kumar, Parvinder Sharma, Harsh Rajput, Shivansh Kapoor, Suryansh Sharma, Udhayveer Singh Chandel, Harsh Anand & Ajay Singh. The women team comprises of Ms. Palak Bharti, Ms. Simran Rajput, Ms. Mansi Spolia & Ms. Kshika Rana.

S. Padam Dev Singh is accompanying the team as an University contingent Manger whereas, Sh. Ranchan Sabarwal and Sh. Ajay Kumar are accompanying the team as Coaches.

Before the departure of the team for Lucknow the team was introduced with Prof. Umesh Rai, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu in the presence of Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Registrar, Dr. Daud Iqbal Bab, Director Sports and Physical Education, S. Padam Dev Singh (Hockey Coach) and S. Harinderpal Singh. Prof. Umesh Rai wish a successful participation of the teams in the said Games.
