Jammu’s dreams of a Sanskrit University closer to reality as Rana offers full support

A delegation comprising Mahant Rohit Shastri, a revered spiritual leader, and a group of distinguished Sanskrit scholars, convened a crucial meeting with Devender Singh Rana, BJP’s prominent political figure in J&K, and Vibodh Gupta, the General Secretary of BJP J&K in Delhi.

The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss the establishment of a Sanskrit University in the Uttarbehni area of Jammu region.

Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana also made an earnest appeal to Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, to champion their cause and take it forward with the esteemed Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan.

Establishing a dedicated Sanskrit University in Jammu, Mahant Rohit Shastri and the Sanskrit scholars eloquently asserted that it would act as a beacon to preserve, revitalize, and promote the ancient language and its timeless wisdom.
