Jammu’s Om Parkash Daloutra Honored with President’s Police Medal on CBI Foundation Day
New Delhi, April 1, 2024 – The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) celebrated its Foundation Day with a significant focus on advancements in law enforcement and anti-corruption efforts. A proud moment for Jammu, Om Parkash Daloutra, HC CBI ACB Jammu, was conferred with the prestigious President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service. His unwavering commitment, exceptional investigative skills, and dedication to upholding justice have earned him this esteemed recognition. He was awarded for his exemplary performance in conducting fast and efficient investigations, ensuring timely justice in crucial cases.

Om Parkash Daloutra has been an integral part of the CBI’s mission to combat corruption and ensure accountability. His diligence and professionalism have set a high benchmark in law enforcement, making a lasting impact in the fight against crime and corruption in the region.
The event, held at Bharat Mandapam, was graced by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who delivered a lecture on the theme ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047 – A Roadmap for CBI’. The ceremony also marked the recognition of several other officers for their outstanding service.
CBI Director Praveen Sood hailed 2024 as a transformative year for law enforcement, with the introduction of BHARATPOL enhancing seamless communication between agencies nationwide. Additionally, new legal frameworks have accelerated investigations, leading to the registration of 502 anti-corruption cases this year, marking a significant stride in the fight against corruption.
The event also paid tribute to CBI’s founder, late Dharamnath Prasad Kohli, acknowledging his pioneering efforts in establishing the agency as a premier investigating and prosecuting body in the country.
