JD(U) Leaders deeply saddened over killing of its Retd SP Mohammed Shafi in Baramulla 

Srinagar, 24 Dec 23:- JDU State President G M Shaheen and State General Secretary Vivek Bali , the vehemently condemn the recent terrorist attack in Baramulla, where assailants targeted and fatally shot a retired police officer, Mohammed Shafi, during his prayers at a mosque. Bali denounces this cowardly act, emphasizing that it not only reflects the desperation of terrorists but also constitutes a grave insult to the sanctity of the religious place.

Vivek Bali called for a swift and thorough investigation into the attack, urging law enforcement agencies to bring the perpetrators to justice. He highlighted the resilience of the community in the face of such adversity and emphasized the significance of fostering harmony among different religious groups to counter the divisive motives of those behind such attacks.

In a call to action, JDU leaders urged citizens to stand united against terrorism, irrespective of religious or political affiliations, emphasizing that collective strength and unwavering solidarity are essential to combatting the menace of terrorism that seeks to disrupt the fabric of society.
