J&K Bank Inaugurates its renovated branches at Taisuru & Saliskote in Kargil

KARGIL, 18 January 2024: Committed to upgrade its infrastructure for public convenience, J&K Bank has formally inaugurated its two newly renovated branches at Taisuru and Saliskote in Kargil.

On Wednesday, Chief Executive Councillor (LAHDC Kargil) Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon cut the ceremonial ribbons at Taisuru as well as Saliskote branches in presence of the prominent persons of both places along with Zonal Head (Ladakh) Dorjey Angchuk, Cluster Head (Kargil) Ishfaq Ahmad Hakak amid gatherings of valuable customers of the branch besides local residents and officials of the Bank.

While hailing the Bank as very close to the heart of the people of Kargil, CEC (LAHDC Kargil) expressed hope that the Bank will carry forward its legacy of financial empowerment of people especially of those residing in the rural areas of the Kargil district. He called upon the Bank authorities to contribute to the various developmental initiatives of the district under the Banks CSR program.

Besides, he also voiced the public demand for an additional ATM at Taisuru National Highway and an onsite ATM at Branch Saliskote.

After thanking the dignitaries and valuable customers along with the other people of both the areas, Zonal Head (Ladakh) told the participants that the newly renovated branches have been designed to enhance ease and convenience of services for the customers and public at large.
