J&K Bank launches “Digit ALL-Innovation & Technology for Gender Equality” at Amar Singh College
SRINAGAR, March 6: The Jammu and Kashmir Bank today launched a special campaign on digital on- boarding of female customers under “DigitALL-Innovation & Technology for Gender Equality” initiative in commemoration of the celebration of International Women’s Day at the college.
A large number of females amongst the teaching and non-teaching staff and female students of the college attended the programme.
Commenting on the importance of the Digital Banking, Principal of the college, Prof. Bashir Ahmad Rather, said that digital banking is the part of the digital India initiative launched by the Government of India to make the banking hassle-free and is time efficient in the way that it allows us to access most banking services from the comfort of our homes.
The students showed their utmost enthusiasm and obtained on-the-spot debit cards from the bank officials.
The programme was coordinated by Convener, Women Development Cell, Prof. Sabreena Syed.
The Bank officials present on the occasion applauded the role of the college for the success of the programme.
