J&K BJP celebrates 75th Republic Day with fervour across J&K

JAMMU, January 26: Celebrating the 75th Republic Day with fervour across Jammu and Kashmir, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders unfurled the National flag in every locality, at Chowks, and the important places.

The party workers further filled the ambience with patriotic slogans and songs, while distributing sweets to mark their happiness on the occasion.

At BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, former Dy.CM Kavinder Gupta, party General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, Aseem Gupta, Tilak Raj Gupta, Rekha Mahajan, Arun Prabhat Singh, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, Prem Gupta, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Neelam Langeh, Shailja Gupta, Roshan Choudhary, and other BJP leaders unfurled the tricolour.

Ravinder Raina also attended Republic Day celebrations at MA Stadium, Jammu.

In Kashmir, J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul accompanied by other BJP leaders unfurled the National Flag. He also attended the program organized at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar.

At the BJP office, Kachi Chawni, Jammu, former Minister Sat Sharma, former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, Vice-President Sofi Yusuf, ex-Mayor Rajinder Sharma, Ayodhya Gupta, Parmod Kapahi, Sanjita Dogra, Bawa Sharma, Rajni Sethi, Sanjay Baru, Parduman Singh, and other BJP leaders unfurled the National Flag.

At City Chowk, Jammu, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Vice-President Yudhvir Sethi, former Minister Priya Sethi, spokesperson Purnima Sharma, Subhash Gupta, Sunil Prajapati, Narottam Sharma, Hari Om Sharma and other BJP leaders unfurled the National Flag.

Ravinder Raina, while congratulating his fellow Indians on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, said that this is the land of braves. Today, every Indian is hoisting the National flag with pride. He said that Bharat is not merely a piece of land, but our Mata. This great Nation gained freedom because of sacrifices by uncountable noble souls. To keep the Nation’s flag flying high, the Indian Constitution was adopted on 26 January 1950 and we must work together to save and nurture democracy in the Nation.

Ashok Koul said that the BJP routinely hoists the National flag at various places on this special occasion. He said that the BJP remembers the sacrifices made by great persons in the service to the Nation and appealed to everybody else to remember their contribution. He said that J&K is progressing on the path of peace, prosperity, and nationalism while defeating the nefarious designs of anti-national forces.

Jugal Kishore Sharma, while greeting the people on Republic Day, said that during the past few years, the celebrations of national festivals like Independence Day and Republic Day have been witnessing the massive participation of the general public as there has been a remarkable improvement in the security scenario, which have induced a sense of security among the people.

Kavinder Gupta asked all to pledge for the unity and integrity of the Nation. He said that India is progressing forward under the strong leadership of Modi ji while remembering our freedom heroes and we must work together to make our Nation stronger.

Sat Sharma said that on such occasions as Republic Day, it becomes the moral duty of every citizen to take a pledge to safeguard the national symbols and promote the cause of unity and oneness among all the countrymen.

Shamsher Singh Manhas stressed upon the young generation to learn the supreme sacrifices of countless Indians who left the luxuries of life and jumped into the freedom struggle to attain freedom from the clutches of the British.
