J&K BJP celebrates PM Modi’s birthday, Launch of Vishwakarma scheme

JAMMU September 17: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir led by its leaders and activists celebrated the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi by organizing various programmes across the Union Territory.

BJP leaders also celebrated the launch of ‘PM Vishwakarma Yojana’ by PM Modi aimed at supporting local artisans belonging to the OBC Category. The programme was first announced during the PM Modi Independence Day Speech 2023.

In Jammu region a total of 694 programmes were organized in 17 organizational Districts to pray for long life of PM Modi. A total of 49 programmes were organized to celebrate launch of Vishwakarma scheme.

In Kashmir region, a total of 21 programmes were organized in 10 Districts to celebrate both the occasions with more than 1,000 participation.

BJP leaders distributed sweets, fruits and other materials on the occasion, organized Hawans praying for the good health of PM, took out rallies and organized other programmes to mark the birthday of Prime Minister.

“Modi ji has done exemplary work for the public welfare throughout his tenure as the CM and now as the PM. His life is unparalleled. We all pray to Almighty to grant him more strength, so that he can serve the motherland for decades to come”, said Raina.

Raina, said that the ‘PM Vishwakarma Yojana’ launched today, on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti is aimed at providing support to artisans who keep alive the traditional crafts of India.

Ashok Koul, J&K BJP General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Koul celebrated the birthday of PM by participating in a Hawan at Arya Samaj Mandir organized for the long and disease-free life of PM Modi. Distributed Ration at Ward 21, performed Hawan in Ward 50 and interacted with the beneficiaries of Central Government schemes in Channi.

Kavinder Gupta, former Dy. CM participated in Langar in Gandhi Nagar, distribute Ration, programme in Trikuta Nagar Market Association and performed Hawan in Channi Panch Mandir.

Sat Sharma, former Minister, participated in a programme organized by Shree Guru Ravidas ji Sabha in Ward 40, and other programmes in Ward No. 24 and Ward No. 30, besides organizing a Langar praying for the good health of PM.

Sunil Sharma, J&K BJP General Secretary celebrated the occasion at SKICC, Srinagar and other places.

Adv. Vibodh Gupta, J&K BJP General Secretary participated in various programmes in Rajouri.

Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, J&K BJP General Secretary participated in the programmes in Samba district.

Priya Sethi, BJP NEM, celebrated the occasion in Ward No. 8.

Yudhvir Sethi, BJP Vice-President, led a bike rally in Ward-8, in Jammu East.
