People living in the border areas have thanked the Government of India and BRO for the development works in the valley.
Tej Singh, BRO Sector in-charge Engineer said, “When this road was not there, people had to walk 8 to 10 km and doctors had to suffer a lot to reach the villages to treat the animals, but after the development of the road, it has become very easy for doctors to reach them. Local people have cooperated with us a lot. This is an army road but local people are also getting the benefit of it.”
