J&K: BSF rescues stranded travellers returning from Guarez
Bandipore (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], May 13 (ANI): The Border Security Force (BSF) rescued a group of trstrandedavellers returning from Guarez and took them to their location for first aid and heated shelter.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police later helped the travellers to resume their journey, the BSF said.
“A group of locals who were returning from #Gurez got stranded due to heavy snowfall. The @BSF_Kashmir troops rescued all stranded travelers & took them to the BSF location for first aid & heated shelter. Further, #JKP helped travelers to resume their journey,” the BSF Kashmir said in a post on ‘X’.
Earlier in the month, the BSF gunned down one intruder in the Samba sector, officials said. According to the BSF, the intruder was killed near the international border. (ANI)
