J&K Dharmarth Trust condoles demise of Padmashri Prof. Ved Kumari Ghai
JAMMU June 1 : Trustees of J&K Dharmarth Trust today condoled sad demise of Padmashri Awardee Prof. Ved Kumari Ghai, a renowned Sanskrit Scholar from Jammu and Kashmir.
In a message issued to media persons, Brig R.S Langeh, President J&K Dharmarth Trust expressed grief and pain over the sad demise of the academic laureate, Prof Ved Ghai, whose contribution in academic world especially in Sanskrit field is considered as unmatchable and of the superlative quality.
He said, “It is matter of pride for all associated with the Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust that this iconic academician, daughter of the soil remained Member of the J&K Dharmarth Trust Council.
He said that Hon’ble Chairman Trustee, Dr Karan Singh besides other Trustees of Dharmarth Trust have personally expressed shock and grief over her death and have prayed to almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and provide lots of courage to the bereaved family to bear with this irreparable loss. He said that the void created in the society on account of her death shall never be filled again as her persona was extraordinary with so many exceptional qualities which are difficult to find in people.
