J&K Govt hikes DA to 246% for employees, pensioners

Jammu and Kashmir government has raised the Dearness Allowance (DA) for employees and pensioners under the 6th Pay Commission from 239% to 246% of basic pay and pension.

According to the Finance Department, the revised DA will take effect from July 1, 2024. Arrears for the additional installment from July 2024 to February 2025 will be paid in cash in March 2025 and included in monthly salaries and pensions thereafter. The payment will be rounded off to the next higher rupee where applicable.
