DODA, DECEMBER 20: The serene landscapes of Dessa Valley witnessed a dedicated effort towards environmental conservation through a plantation drive organized under the ambitious JK Green Drive initiative. The initiative, aimed at promoting greenery and biodiversity, saw the distribution of 500 saplings comprising both fruit and conifer varieties.
The event was spearheaded by the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Doda, Ravinder Singh, and Range Officer Adil Shan. The presence of key figures, including Model E-Governance Centre Incharge Hiteshwar Thakur, underscored the collaborative nature of the endeavour. The plantation drive brought together the collective efforts of Gram Sarpanches, members of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), local residents, and enthusiastic school children.
