J&K LG Manoj Sinha greets people on Basant Panchami/Saraswati Puja

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday extended his warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchami.

In a Tweet, Sinha said, “On this auspicious occasion, I pray that Goddess Saraswati showers her blessings on all of us and guide us on the path of knowledge, wisdom and enlightenment. May this festival bring happiness, prosperity and good health to all.”

Basant Panchami, also known as Saraswati Puja is a Hindu festival that marks the arrival of spring. It is celebrated on the fifth day of the bright fortnight of the Hindu month of Magha, which usually falls in February or March.
