Holds Public Darbar at Greater Kailash, highlights Modi Govt’s Welfare Schemes & Vision for J&K
Jammu 10 April: As part of the BJP’s ongoing Sangathan Parv, Ved Sharma, Co-Incharge of All Cells, BJP J&K, today held a Public Darbar at Ward No. 68 Greater Kailash in Kunjwani Mandal to listen to the concerns of the residents and spread awareness about government initiatives.

In his address, Ved Sharma emphasized the welfare schemes launched by the Modi Government, underlining how these initiatives have brought significant benefits to the general public across all sections of society. He spoke in detail about schemes like Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and others that have empowered the common man and strengthened the grassroots.
Ved Sharma also shed light on the transformational journey of Jammu and Kashmir post the abrogation of Article 370. He stated that the Union Territory is now treading the path of peace, development, and prosperity under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “The changes in infrastructure, education, health and governance are visible on the ground, and the people of J&K are experiencing a new dawn of progress,” he said.
The senior BJP leader Ved Sharma further spoke on the relevance of One Nation, One Election, describing it as a much-needed reform for ensuring administrative efficiency and uninterrupted governance across the country. He added that the BJP is committed to democratic values and believes in strengthening institutions while ensuring smooth functioning of the system.
BJP Kunjwani Mandal President appreciated the efforts of Ved Sharma and reiterated the party’s commitment to reach every household and resolve their issues.
Ajay Partap Singh organized a tour of Ward No. 68 covering areas like Langer, Thanger, and Lower Ratnuchack.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vikram Singh, who lauded the active participation of local residents and party workers.
Prominent BJP leaders including General Secretary Mandal Vikram Singh, Mahila Morcha State Secretary Usha Rani, Reena Slathia, and Shakti Kendra Parmukh Raj Kumar were also present.
