J&K Police Mountain Rescue Teams bravely rescue stranded pilgrims on Shri Amarnath ji Yatra

As the Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2023 continues, the Jammu and Kashmir Police Mountain Rescue Teams (MRT) have been tirelessly engaged in their mission to assist and support pilgrims, ensuring their safety throughout the journey.

In a series of daring rescue operations, the MRTs demonstrated their unwavering dedication by successfully rescuing three stranded pilgrims from challenging locations.

Ashutosh Sony, hailing from Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, was rescued from Green Hut Kelnar Poshpathri. Additionally, an ITBP 34th Battalion official, HC Pujari, a resident of Andhra Pradesh, was safely rescued from Midwawbal. Another female pilgrim, Mana Devi from Uttar Pradesh, was rescued from Glacier Point.

The MRTs swiftly executed the rescue operations, skillfully navigating the treacherous terrains and challenging weather conditions.

Their expertise and bravery in such critical situations have been lauded by all those involved in the pilgrimage and beyond.

After the successful rescues, the stranded pilgrims were shifted to the nearest medical camps, where they received immediate medical attention and care.
