J&K Police pays homage to martyrs on anniversary of their sacrifice

The Jammu and Kashmir Police Pariwar today remembered and paid homage to several Special Police Officers (SPO) who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty on this day over the past years.

Police remembered SgCt Ali Mohd from Kupwara, SgCt Gh Rasool from Pulwama, and SPO Gulab Chand from Doda for their bravery and ultimate sacrifice in 2001.

Police further remembered SPO Nisar Ahmad Bhat from Kulgam who died in the line of duty in 2002, followed by SPO Ghulam Nabi Dar from Pulwama in 2003 and SPO Mushtaq Ahmad from Poonch in 2004.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police Pariwar paid heartfelt homage to the martyrs and lauded their selfless service to the nation.
