J&K police pays tribute to martyrs who made supreme sacrifices in the line of duty

On this solemn day, the Jammu and Kashmir Police came together to pay heartfelt tributes to eleven brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the nation.

The martyrs, hailing from different regions of Jammu and Kashmir, have left an indelible mark in the annals of the state’s history and are remembered with deep respect and gratitude.

The brave martyrs who were honored include:

  1. Constable Girdhari Lal from Samba (1998)
  2. Constable Inam Ahmed Mughal from Srinagar (1999)
  3. Constable Raman Singh from Samba (2002)
  4. Senior Constable Abdul Rashid Thakur from Baramulla (2003)
  5. Constable Raj Kumar from Udhampur (2006)
  6. Constable Mohd Sayed Khan from Kupwara (2014)
  7. Constable Gowhar Ahmad Tantrey from Kulgam (2017)
  8. Special Police Officer (SPO) Sham Parshad from Ramnagar (2001)
  9. SPO Kam Raj from Doda (2003)
  10. SPO Ram Rattan from Doda (2003)
  11. SPO Mushtaq Ahmed from Poonch (2004)
