J&K Police’s Cyber Cell recovers Rs 1 lakh in online fraud

JAMMU, 30 July 2024: Cyber cell DPO Jammu, a dedicated unit to deal with cases of online fraud and cybercrime has been relentlessly working day in and day out to ensure the safety and security of the masses, in general, has once again successfully recovered hard earned money of the complainant.

The complainant was fraudulently cheated by a fraudster who approached him telephonically on WhatsApp and persuaded him to invest an amount from his hard-earned sources in trading. The complainant invested in trading and lost an amount of Rs 1 lakh.

The cyber cell DPO Jammu took no time to start the investigations and acted swiftly while exhibiting the ultimate professional excellence through its dedicated skilled human resource which was put to task and in no time the lost amount of Rs 1,00,000 was recovered.
