J&K regions to get fair share in development under BJP dispensation : Slathia
RAMGARH January 16: Former minister and BJP Vice President Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia today said that all the regions and sub-regions of Jammu and Kashmir will get fair share in development under the BJP dispensation.
“The darkest phase of disparity, discrimination and hopelessness has been taken over by hope and a new era of change is discernible since the past couple of years under the visionary, progressive and forward looking leadership of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, Mr Slathia said while addressing the BJP functionaries Rajpura Mandal in Ramgarh Assembly Constituency under the Parwas Programme.
He said The spirit the Naya J&K is in the making with the guarantee of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Pryas, Sabka Vishwas. In the wake of various path breaking initiatives taken during the recent years, Jammu and Kashmir is scaling the ladder of holistic development with the people, irrespective of region, religion or caste, feeling a sense of belongingness and political empowerment. The governance being people centric, the phase of appeasement of some and discrimination of many is nightmarish chapter of the past. As the delivery system has improved significantly, everyone is benefiting from the government schemes without any bias, he added.
Mr Slathia said that the Prime Minister’s vision about Naya Jammu and Kashmir is taking shape vigorously and the measures post August 2019 have paved way for development and undoing the decades of neglect. The deprived people are now getting benefitted by the central legislations, which are hugely beneficial for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Valmiki Samaj, Refugees besides the various other segments of the weaker sections.
Mr Slathia also referred to the major initiatives taken during the recent years in respect of development and implementation of various welfare schemes. Massive investments are bound to give a new dimension to growth and productivity and boon to employment generation. The Centre has flagged employment as priority and therefore the infrastructural growth will open up vistas for professionals besides skilled and unskilled workforce. He said the tourism sector is equally getting impetus in both the divisions and this will certainly give fillip to local economies. He said that political empowerment has made the people masters of their destiny.
Mr Slathia exhorted the Karykartas to intensify their mass contact programme to every nook and corner, identify the problems being faced by the people and seek their redressal at appropriate forums.
