J&K Youth Congress Organizes Successful Blood Donation Camp in Jammu North

J&K Youth Congress Paid Tribute to Iron Lady Lt. Indira Gandhi Ji, Organised Blood Donation Camp in Remembrance

JAMMU, October 31: The Jammu and Kashmir Youth Congress organized a highly successful Blood Donation Camp in the region of Jammu North Assembly in honor of former Prime Minister of India Smt. Indira Gandhi Ji on the occasion of her death anniversary. The event, which took place on Tuesday, saw a significant turnout of donors and volunteers eager to make a difference in the lives of those in need. The blood donation camp was organised by AYC President Jammu North Sunil Singh along with District Jammu Urban team.

Former PYC President J&K Uday Bhanu Chib, Jatinder Chib Secretary JKPCC, Anirudh Sawhney and Sahil Langeh both General Secretary JKPYC, Ajay Lakhotra NSUI state Chief, Happy Randhawa Chairman Research cell JKPYC, Deepanshu Bhatt, Anmol Kohli AYC Jammu West, Sunny Jatt Ex DYC President Jammu Rural, Gourav Sharma, Sajal Mahajan, Arjun Chib, Rohit Singh Chib and others were present at the event.

The Blood Donation Camp was held at Ward No 66,  Lower Roop Nagar, falling in Jammu North Assembly, and it aimed to address the constant demand for blood in medical emergencies, surgeries, and other critical situations. The J&K Youth Congress leaders honored the first woman Prime Minister of India by organising the blood donation camp. They said that they wanted to revive the values of the Congress party and the former PM who led the country as a leader and visionary. The Youth Congress played a pivotal role in coordinating and executing this vital community service. One of the primary objectives of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation. Many people joined the camp with a sense of purpose and the desire to contribute to the well-being of their fellow citizens. The camp featured a well-organized system, where trained medical professionals collected the blood donations while ensuring the safety and comfort of the donors. Stringent health and safety measures were adhered to, making the event a safe and secure environment for all participants.

The J&K Youth Congress leaders expressed their gratitude towards all the volunteers and donors, saying, “The success of this Blood Donation Camp is a testament to the compassion and generosity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The camp not only helped meet the immediate need for blood but also instilled a sense of unity and solidarity among the people of Jammu North. They further said that the Congress party was dedicated to community service and kindness.
