JKAACL orgasnises cultural/ literary festival ‘DHANAK’ in Doda
DODA, March 9: One day Cultural and Literary Festival under the title DHANAK was organised today by Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL) sub office Doda, here at community hall under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
The Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Mahajan along with SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom, inaugurated the Colorful event of art and culture.
Various cultural and literary items were the main attractions of the program. The opening item of program was a Dogri song with beautiful Dogri folk dance performed by the female artists from Bhaderwah. The main attraction of the program was also the famous folk dance of Kashmir Band Pathar, presented by Kashmiri artists who mesmerised by their beautiful acting and dance.
The other attractions were the Bhaderwahi Kud and Sirazi Decu dance present by the local youth.
A beautiful musharria in Urdu language also mesmerised the audience. Many young Urdu poets delivered their best lines of Urdu shairye in the programme.
President Municipal Council Doda, Ved Prakash Gupta, SHO Doda, Officers from various departments, Cultural Officer Doda, Media Persons and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
