JKNC Central Zone holds meet of district presidents, coordinators
Babu Rampaul urges people of J&K to fight for restoration of democratic set-up
Jammu July 26: Former Minister and President, JKNC Central Zone (Jammu, Samba & Kathua), Babu Rampaul today called upon the people of J&K, especially women and youth, to come forward and launch a struggle for the restoration of democratic set-up in Jammu and Kashmir.
Babu Rampaul said this while addressing a meeting of JKNC Central Zone at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan here. The meeting was attended by all the seven organizational district presidents and district coordinators of the zone. The meeting was organized on the direction of the party high command to deliberate upon the forthcoming delegate convention.
Babu Rampaul said that NC was the only party in Jammu and Kashmir that had the legacy of working for the equitable development of all sections of society and all the regions. “There are several burning that are haunting the poor people of J&K. Be it unemployment, inflation, lack of opportunities or corruption, the present dispensation has miserably failed to come upto the expectations of people,” he added.
He also urged the party cadre to mobilize all their resources and launch full scale campaign in the wake of ensuing Panchayat and Local Bodies elections to aware people about the policies and principles of the National Conference. “Ours is the only party, which understand the real issues of public and have a proven track record to redress the same. It is therefore imperative upon the party cadre to reach out to people at every nook and corner to expose the lies of present dispensation,” he further said.
The meeting was attended by Raghubir Singh Manhas, Ch Naresh Bittu, Saudagar Gupta, Sham Narayan Mehta, Ajit Kumar Sharma, Romi Khajuria, Dr Vikas Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, Sandesh Shan, Sham Lal Mehra, Surjeet Singh Sasan, Amreesh Sharma, Adv Aslam Choudhary, Nirmal Singh, and others.
