JKNC Jammu Urban initiates mass contact program to address public grievances

Only NC possesses foresight & capability to bring true development to the region, says Chander Mohan

JAMMU, August 2: Jammu & Kashmir National Conference  District Jammu Urban (JKNC) today started its Mass Contact Programme with an aim to directly interact with citizens and understand the challenges they encounter under the present administration.

Chander Mohan Sharma, District President of JKNC Jammu Urban, spearheaded the door-to-door program in Patel Bazar, Fatu Chougan, Moti Bazar, Kachi Chowani, Kali Jani, and Pacca Danga areas in Jammu East Constituency. During this outreach, he held a series of meetings and interacted with residents, listening intently to their concerns.

During his interactions, Chander Mohan Sharma noted widespread dissatisfaction among the people regarding basic amenities. “People are crying out for fundamental necessities like water and electricity. There has been no significant development in Jammu, and the current power and water situation is abysmal,” he stated.

The senior NC leader criticized the present government’s approach, highlighting that except for constructing pavements and footpaths, there has been little meaningful development. “The government is misappropriating public funds under the guise of the Smart City initiative,” he remarked.

Chander Mohan also took the opportunity to remind the public of the National Conference’s significant achievements during its tenure in J&K. He emphasized that the National Conference has a proven track record of development and a clear vision for the future of Jammu and Kashmir. “Only the National Conference possesses the foresight and capability to bring true development to our region,” he asserted.

As the Assembly polls approach, Chander Mohan urged the people to support the National Conference in the forthcoming Assembly elections. He expressed confidence that with the backing of the populace, the JKNC could bring about the much-needed change and address the longstanding issues that the current administration has failed to resolve.

Among those who were present include: – Ashok Dogra Vice President District Jammu Urban, S. Gurnam Singh Block President Jammu West, Parbhat Kaphai Joint Secretary District Jammu Urban and others.
