JKPCC chief leads Congress  protest seeking responsibility for pulwama attack 

JAMMU, April, 18: Following the sensational revelations by Former JK Governor Satyapal Malik into circumstances surrounding  the Pulwama attack  JK Congress today held a strong protest demonstration seeking fixing of the accountability for the failure leading to the martyrdom of 40 jawans at pulwama

Leading the protest JKPCC President Vikar Rasool wani  accompanied by  AICC Jt Secy i/c Jk affairs Manoj Yadav, working president Raman Bhalla and along with other senior leadership of PCC and DCC Jammu Urban & Rural.

The Rally was organized by I/C DCC  Jammu Urban  Yogesh Sawhney and DCC  President Jammu Rural Hari Singh Chib.

Khajuria, Amrit Wali , Dwarka Choudhary,  Rajinder Singh Jamwal, Ritu Choudhary and a  large number of congress workers held a strong protest demonstartion as part of Jai Bharat Satyagrah, seeking details of the probe leading to the gruesome incident on 14Feb 2019 and fixing responsibility  for the incident. 

Raising slogans against the Modi govt and demanding accountability into the pulwama incident, “Pulwama Shaheedon ka hisab do, BJP govt-Jawab Jawab do “, Malik sb ke khilase par Jawab do, the congress protestors had a scuffle with policemen deployed in large number to thwart the protest march. 

The Protestors also raised slogans against the overall attack on the democracy and freedom of press as the important revelations of then Governor Satya pal malik having great national significance and intrests was suppressed by  divertionary tactics of BJP govt.

They directed their ire towards media too for ignoring such a news from  the general public and reaching to common man. 

Addressing media persons JKPCC President Shri Vikar Rasool Wani said after former Governor Satyapal Malik made sensational revelations in an interview about the Pulwama terror attack, there are very serious and important questions, which is related to national security.

 He asked the central government why CRPF jawans were not given aircraft who were later forced to commute via road despite looming threats of the Pulwama terror attack in 2019. The party also demanded answers on the outcome of the investigations into the incident, in which 40 jawans lost their lives.

Shri Manoj Yadav said  that BJP government was moving on with “minimum governance and maximum silence.” He asked for the government’s clarification on the remarks made by the former Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Satyapal Malik on the matter during an interview.

He also said it is the responsibility of the government to give answers to these questions raised by the opposition. The Congress leader also added that the party will continue to ask questions as it is a matter of national security.

Shri Raman Bhalla in his address asked where the inquiry has reached in the Pulwama terror attack after four years of the incident. He said the government has created buildings as symbols of democracy but democracy is missing.

He also said it is the responsibility of the government to give answers to these questions raised by the opposition. The Congress leader also added that the party will continue to ask questions as it is a matter of national security.

Bhalla questioned “Why were the CRPF personnel denied an aircraft? Why were they not airlifted?” He also asked why the Jaish threats were ignored. why were 11 intelligence inputs, between 2 January 2019 and 13 February 2019, warning about a terror attack ignored,” as quoted by PTI.
