Kalapathar Police find three missing girls, reunite them with their families within 9 hours
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], September 3 (ANI): The Kalapathar police, following an operation, traced three missing girls and safely reunited them with their parents within nine hours. According to a statement from the police, the girls attempted to flee their homes after being reprimanded by their parents.
The investigation revealed that the complainant’s daughter, who had studied up to the 7th grade, was reprimanded by her father two days before the incident and was threatened with being sent to a residential hostel. Similarly, the tenant’s daughters, who worked as sales girls in Ameerpet, were also rebuked by their mother for working far from home. Feeling pressured and upset, all three girls decided to run away together in the early hours of September 2.
According to a police press release, the incident was off September 2, 2024, at 4:00 AM, when a resident of Bilal Nagar, Kalapathar, Hyderabad, reported that his 14-year-old daughter and his tenant’s two daughters, aged 16 and 14, had gone missing since 2:00 AM that day.
Upon receiving the complaint, the police registered a case and investigated. The police further stated, “Under the guidance of superior officers, we formed three special teams consisting of Kalapathar police personnel and continuously reviewed CCTV footage, starting from the complainant’s house and other locations.”
The efforts of the police personnel paid off when they traced the missing girls to Nampally Railway Station at 12:30 PM, just as the girls were about to board a train to Mumbai.
