Kalyanmayee Jammu Unit Celebrates 50th International Women’s Day with Art and Craft Workshop and Social Initiatives

Jammu : As part of the ongoing 50th International Women’s Day celebrations,
the Kalyanmayee Jammu Unit, in collaboration with Mahit Fine Art School,
organized an Art and Craft Workshop at Jammu Airport. Women employees
from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Health Department, and
concessionaire staff participated in the event.

Renowned artists Sh. Pankaj Kapoor and Ms. Richa Kapoor led the workshop,
teaching various art and craft techniques to encourage creativity and community
building.

Additionally, Kalyanmayee members visited an old age home, interacting with
residents and distributing fruits to spread joy and appreciation for the elderly.
The celebrations, continuing until March 15, 2025, focus on empowerment,
creativity, and social welfare. Airport Director, Sh. Sanjeev Kumar Garg,
praised the initiative, which was organized under the supervision of Smt. Babita
Garg, President of Kalyanmayee Jammu Unit.
