Karra  strongly condemns Pehalgam terror attack, call for more effective measures to counter terrorism.

Hold  all party meet to discuss security situation,  adopt more effective strategy  to defeat terrorism.

Jammu, April 22 : JKPCC Chief Shri Tariq Hameed Karra has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on tourists at Pehalgam today and termed it a dastardly and disturbing  incident.

Reacting  strongly over the incident, ahead of Shri Amarnath Yatra JKPCC Chief expressed their grave concern  over the worsening security situation  and call for  more effective  measures  to strengthen  the security network. He said that  the security situation  has worsened in the  past couple of years and  has spread in  most parts of Jammu region, which was almost normal  in the past two decades .

He said that Centre Govt. was cautioned time and again to  control the worsening situation by further  strengthening  the security grips besides taking on board the  political parties and elected Govt. to adopt more effective  counter terrorism strategy .

He  reiterated the demands  for all party meet to discuss the  security situation in order to  deal effectively the threat of terrorism an d ensure the  safety and security of citizens as well as security forces who are bravely fighting terrorists. The party expressed solidarity the victims of today’s terrorism attack and their families and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
