Kathua Campus, Jammu University organizes an Expert Talk on ‘Wealth Creation and Management’.
JAMMU, April 13: Kathua Campus, University of Jammu organized an Expert Talkon‘Wealth Creation and Management’ wherein more than 100 students participated from Kathua Campus and Government Degree College, Kathua. The event was organized with the view to give undergraduate students from affiliated colleges a bird’s-eye view of career options in finance and management and to acquaint them with the programmes and facilities available on the Campus. Mr. Akhil Gupta, Founder& CEO, Motuindia Business Hub (MBH), Kathuawas the resource person. Mr. Gupta is a trusted advisor for over 50 corporate houses and inspired students by training in various institutions.
The MBH Wealth Management Company has been managing wealth across different businesses that includes Equity Shares of Indian Companies, F&O Trades, Self-Owned Businesses, etc.
While speaking on the topic, Mr. Gupta discussed various methods of creating wealth and its management in today’s scenario. He further talked about the benefits of investing in stock market and mutual funds. He stressed upon the achievements of diverse youth icons in the area of finance at national and international levels and exhorted upon the young audience to channelize their energies to achieve the greater heights. He motivated students by quoting scores of examples of young minds who are today renowned personalities in their respective fields and emphasized upon the need of setting goals and priorities in life with a need of tracking the same after recurrent intervals.
Dr. Meenakshi Kilam, Rector Kathua Campus, University of Jammu acknowledged the resource person for such a vibrant talk on a topic that holds relevance in the present scenario. She said that organizing such events often facilitates the upliftment of the young minds who need to be motivated and dazzled.She also said that the Campus has already organized similar programmes for students from affiliated colleges and higher secondary schools of Kathua region and this was in series of such programmes. Further, she said this programme has also acted as a stepping stone for earn while you learn option to be offered to the students of the Campus. She stressed that such activities should be a regular feature in the academic schedule of the higher institutions.
Dr. Sourabh Shastri, Convener of the programme and Incharge Head, MCA Department delivered the welcome address whereasDr. Zahin Ansari, Organizing Secretary of the event and Incharge Head, MBA delivered vote of thanks. Mr. Gaurav Sharma, Coordinator of the event liaisoned with Dr. Himani Arora, Head, Department of Commerce, Government Degree College, Kathua for the participation of their students in the programme. Ms. Kamakshi coordinated the whole programme.
