Kavinder slams INDIA Bloc’s call for nuclear disarmament
Urges patriotic citizens to stand firm against forces seeking to undermine India’s security & unity
Kavinder Gupta, senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister today launched a blistering assault on the INDIA bloc’s reckless advocacy for the elimination of India’s nuclear deterrence, warning of dire consequences for the nation’s security in an increasingly volatile global landscape.
Speaking to media persons after flagging off the rally at Bahu constituency here today, the senior BJP leader minced no words in condemning the INDIA bloc’s stance, asserting that the call for nuclear disarmament represents a dangerous departure from the imperative of safeguarding India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. “We should have nuclear weapons to protect our country. Those saying otherwise, how will they protect India?” he challenged, emphasizing the pivotal role of nuclear deterrence in deterring potential adversaries and ensuring India’s defense capabilities.
In a pointed rebuke aimed at the Congress party, Kavinder labeled the Congress as the sultan of the tukde-tukde gang,” accusing it of colluding with the INDIA bloc in a concerted effort to weaken the nation. He warned against the nefarious agenda of the opposition alliance, alleging that it seeks to divide, break, and weaken India for its own political gains.
Strongly reacting to the Communist Party of India (Marxist), a constituent of INDI Alliance, for its advocacy of nuclear disarmament in its manifesto, he said that they cannot protect the country, dismissing the opposition’s stance on national security as misguided and perilous.
“In today’s world, doesn’t our country need nuclear weapons?” he challenged, underscoring the indispensable role of nuclear deterrence in safeguarding India’s interests amidst escalating conflicts and geopolitical tensions.
As the nation braces itself for the challenges of the future, Kavinder asked all patriotic citizens to stand firm against the forces seeking to undermine India’s security and unity. “We must remain steadfast in our commitment to protecting India’s interests and upholding its sovereignty,” he concluded.
