KC Public School organises orientation programme on Drone Wars
JAMMU, 21 Aug : In a bid to spark intellectual curiosity and foster a deep understanding of cutting-edge technology, KCPS orchestrated an orientation programme on Drone Wars. The event, held recently for class VI to IX was a remarkable initiative driven by School Science Club.
The session welcomed Shubham Taneja, a seasoned expert in the realm of Learning and Competition as the Programme Manager of STEMplify, Noida. He captivated the audience of aspiring young minds as he delved into the intriguing world of drones and their role in modern warfare. He skillfully shed light on various dimensions of drone technology and elucidated the multifaceted objectives that underpin the development of drones, ranging from surveillance to strategic manoeuvre in conflict zones. As the presentation unfolded, students were exposed to intricate skills and dynamics that govern the creation of these airborne marvels. The concepts of aerodynamics, with its interplay of forces, and Newton’s Third Law of Motion, took centre stage, allowing students to grasp the scientific foundations that enable drones to soar through the skies with remarkable precision.
The heart of the presentation lay in the display of the inner workings of drones. Through demonstrations and graphics, Taneja unveiled the mechanisms that facilitate the flight of drones. Students were spellbound as they grasped the mysteries behind the seamless coordination of propellers, sensors, and navigation systems that contribute to the drone’s ability to navigate the skies with unparalleled grace.
One of the highlights of the event was the hands-on experience offered to the participants. Students were given the opportunity to take control and guide a drone through the air. The thrill of watching their commands translate into tangible flight manoeuvres left an indelible mark on the participants, igniting a newfound passion for the world of aviation and technology.
The orientation programme took on an interactive nature, encouraging students to actively engage in discussions and pose thought-provoking questions. This interactive approach not only enhanced the students’ understanding but also stoked their curiosity to explore further into the captivating realm of drones.
Chairman Raju Chowdhary and Managing Director Arti Chowdhary expressed their appreciation for the School Science Club for arranging this programme based on latest technologies.
