KC Public students excel at UT level Yoga Competition

JAMMU, 11 Sept. Sadhya Sharma and Shambhavi Sharma of K C Public School fared extremely well in the UT Level Yoga Competition held at Brahmakumari Ashram, Jammu recently. Sadhya won the gold medal in the 10-12 years age group while Shambhavi bagged silver medal in the 16-18 years age group. The event was organised by the Yoga Association of J&K under the aegis of J&K Olympic Association. It brought together talented participants from various schools across the UT. The Chief guest on the occasion was the patron-in-chief of Yoga Association, Rajyogini B.K. The championship was officiated by a national referee and judged by Yoga federation experts Dayal Ram, Mukesh Sharma , Sanjeev Kumar Rajesh Bandral, Sabita Sharma and Aryaveer Singh.

KCPS has been actively promoting the physical and mental well-being of its students through Yoga. The school firmly believes that engaging in Yoga not only improves physical fitness but also enhances concentration, reduces stress and fosters overall well-being. The success of its students in this prestigious competition is a validation of the school’s commitment towards providing comprehensive education to its students.
