KCC Saturation Camps Empower Agricultural Communities across District Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, JANUARY 12: To fortify the agricultural landscape, the Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Saturation Camps were meticulously organized today at Gulhar, Sigdi, and Karool across multiple blocks in the district of Kishtwar on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav.

Under the guidance of Chief Agricultural Officer (CAO) Kishtwar,  Amjad Hussain Malik, the camp at Gulhar witnessed a transformative session.

Amjad Hussain Malik presided over the proceedings and also spearheaded the distribution of crucial inputs within the Organic Cluster under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) at Gulhar.

Addressing the gathering, the CAO gave a special emphasis on the farmer community to avail the schemes pertaining to the various agriculture and allied sectors.

The saturation camps were strategically designed to cater to the comprehensive needs of the agricultural community, aiming at Disseminating essential information about the Kisan Credit Card scheme, Facilitating easy access to credit for farmers and encouraging the adoption of organic farming practices.

The camp also fostered the strengthening of the bond between farmers and government to avail benefits of Agriculture & Allied department initiatives.

The camp also witnessed the presence of Bank Officials, Officers/ Officials of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Sheep Husbandry departments.

These camps stand as a testament to the commitment of the district administration to empower and uplift the agricultural sector. The collaborative efforts of CAO Kishtwar, government officials, and the enthusiastic participation of farmers have contributed to the success of the KCC Saturation Camps.
