KCPS Student to Represent J&K in 68th School National Games

JAMMU, 11 April: Jaideep Singh of KC Public School has been selected to represent the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory in the prestigious 68th School National Games (Football). The prestigious event, organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), is scheduled to be held at Imphal, (Manipur,) from 15th April to 21st April 2025.

The School National Games, a premier sporting event in India, brings together talented young athletes from across the country to compete in various disciplines. Jaideep’s selection is the outcome of his dedication, and hard work . He has been training under Moon Stephen, the football coach of the school.

“We are incredibly proud of Jaideep’s achievement,” said Mr. Amarendra Kumar, Principal of KC Public School. “His selection to represent J&K UT in the 68th School National Games is a reflection of his talent, perseverance, and commitment to excellence and the school’s culture to provide its students with the best of the sports facilities”. It is pertinent to mention here that four Pickle Ball courts and a Box Cricket Court were recently inaugurated at KC Public School. The school has the region’s only flood lit cricket ground on its campus besides other world-class sports facilities.
