Kcps Students Excel At Stemletics Event Hosted By Scindia Kanyavidyalaya Gwalior
JAMMU: 31 Aug,Five students of KC Public School, namely, Aryan Mahajan, Mrigaanka Bhat, Medhavi Arora, Lavanya Koushal and Divyansh Sharma took part in the ‘Stemletics’ event hosted by Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya Gwalior on August 28 and 29, 2024. The term ‘Stemletics’ refers to an innovative programme that combines sports and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) education to engage students in hands-on learning experiences.
The programme aims at equipping the next generation of leaders with essential tools to succeed in today’s world and encourages students to pursue careers in STEM fields.
The event commenced with an impressive opening ceremony with the DRDO Director presiding over it. Thereafter, participating teams from several reputed schools from India took part in a number of activities such as Castle Run Robot Workshop, Technovate Competition, Castle Run Robot Competition and Obstacle Avoiding Robot Competition.
The team from KCPS escorted by Mohit Uppal of IT department put up a marvellous performance during the event and won the third position in the Obstacle Avoiding Robot competition. In this event, robots built by students utilized sensors and advanced algorithms to expertly manoeuvre through a complex maze, avoiding collisions and finding the optimal path.
Aryan and Divyansh of KCPS handled this event with remarkable dexterity. This accomplishment showcased KCPS team’s exceptional skills, innovative thinking, dedication to the field of robotics and excellent team spirit.
KCPS Chairman Raju Chowdhary and Principal AK Mishra complimented the school Science Club ‘KC Science Crusaders’ and its mentors Kapil Kashyap and Surbhi Mahajan for taking up the initiative of training the school team for this futuristic scientific contest in which they emerged victorious.
