KCPS Students Win Medals In School National Games 2024
JAMMU, NOVEMBER 22: KCPS students Satvik Bangotra and Aahana Gupta representing the UT of J&K won medals at the 68th School National Games held in Jammu recently.
Satvik won a Silver Medal in sabre team fencing for boys in the under 17 age category whereas Aahana won a Bronze Medal in the same age category for girls.
Fencing is a combat sport that features sword fighting. The three disciplines of modern fencing are the foil, the épée, and the sabre. Satvik and Aahana have been avid followers of this exclusive sport for several years and have sharpened their skills in the sport to perfection with full support from their parents and school teachers. Their achievements in it have earned the UT of J&K and KC Public School immense honour and a sense of pride.
Arjun Chowdhary, Vice Chairman of KCPS and a fine sportsperson himself, and KCPS Principal AK Mishra congratulated Satvik and Aahana for their outstanding performance at the national games and wished them greater success in their future performances in Fencing.
