Kharge’s statement against PM reflects Cong’s frustration, malice: Kavinder

SRTC VRS employees meet Kavinder; raises demands

JAMMU , 28 April : Kavinder Gupta, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister has launched a scathing attack on the Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for issuing irrelevant statement against the Prime Minister by calling him as ‘poisonous snake’.

Responding strongly to Kharge’s statement against PM Modi, Kavinder said that it is an irony of this nation and its people despite getting decimated on the Nation’s political landscape, Congress and its leaders led by the Party chief Mallikarjun Kharge issue erroneous statements least bothering about the sentiments of the people across the nation.

Kavinder said Kharge’s statement was a reflection of what the Gandhi family feels about the PM. “He (Kharge) gave clarification that he was attacking BJP’s ideology. BJP’s ideology is ‘nation first’. So is he saying he was not attacking PM Modi, rather he was attacking India?” he said.

Kavinder asserted that Congressmen had never imagined to reach a stage of getting wiped out of the power corridors of the nation. In fact they believed in the firm conviction that they are born to remain in power for ever by befooling the people. Thus unable to find any scope of returning to power, the leaders of this party are passing through the phase of utter chaos and confusion, he added.

Meanwhile, a deputation of VRS employees of SRTC met Kavinder Gupta and put forth their demands.

The demands put forth by the deputation led by Association President, Dev Raj Bali, included releasing of 6th Pay Commission arrears with effect from January 2006 and pending COLA arrears with effect from 1999, DA arrear from April 2012, 2388 retired employees amount of both Jammu and Kashmir Province amounting Rs 211.92 crore, etc.

Giving a patient hearing to the deputation, Kavinder assured that their demands will be highlighted at higher level to fulfill them at the earliest.
