Kins of POJK Martyrs of 1947 craving for justice- Ex- MLC

JAMMU, October 22:- Senior Vice President of JKPCC and former MLC has said that kins of POJK martyrs of 1947 are craving for justice and their just demands, which need to fulfilled immediately. 

Remembering the massacre of thousands of minority community members of POJK on the day of Pakistan’s nefarious attack on the areas of Poonch, Mirpur and Muzaffrabad in 1947,Senior Congress leader, belonging to this displaced community ,Mr Ravinder Sharma has said that the pain of loosing our forefathers even after seven & half decades , is still there. Thousands of families and their members were brutality killed  & tortured and converted, which is shocking but their survivors are still struggling to get certain rights and due benefits from the government, which is irresponsive and insensitive. 

He said that centre government should take  up on top priority to resolve all pending issues of Displaced people of 1947 from POJK, liberate their allotted lands from illegal occupations in so many cases, from more than seven decades, registration of left out families, settlement of pending claims and sanction of full package besides jobs and reservation issues as recommended and availed by a section only. 

BJP is engaged in lip service only for more than nine years & stressed upon special focus on the concessions for better and technical education to refugee youths on all india levels and scholarships for the better progress of future generations. 

He extended full support of the Congress party to the genuine struggle of the displaced community including those of 1965 &1971.
